Policies / FAQ

Do you take insurance?

I am currently private pay only, which allows me to provide more personalized and flexible care without the limitations of insurance requirements. My fee for individual sessions is $125 and for couples, it is $150. I may accept select insurance plans in the future, and I will update this information as my practice grows. Limited sliding scale options are available.

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed sessions, will be charged the full session fee.

Telehealth Policy

I am currently seeing clients through telehealth only, with plans to begin offering in-person sessions in my office starting in June.

For Counseling, Telehealth is available for clients located in Kansas at the time of service. Please attend sessions from a private space with reliable internet whenever possible.

What do I do if I'm in crisis?

This practice is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room. For immediate safety concerns, please use emergency resources rather than email, contact forms, or voicemail.

Confidentiality for Counseling

Feeling safe in therapy matters. What you share with me is confidential and protected, with a few exceptions required by law and ethics, such as safety concerns, abuse or neglect, or court involvement. I will always do my best to make sure you understand these limits from the start.

Communication Policy

Text and email are welcome for scheduling, cancellations, and other brief logistics. Because electronic communication is not always secure and I may not see messages right away, please do not use text or email for therapy content, urgent concerns, or emergencies.
